Stan Gale’s Real Estate roots hark back to 1922 with the formation of the Daniel Gale Agency by his grandfather. Spinning off from the residential world of real estate, Stan’s involvement in commercial real estate began in 1976, when he joined Grubb & Ellis. Over the past 20 years, he has amassed the insight, success and intuition to lead The Gale Company, which oversees a global portfolio and has strategic partnerships with top-notch investment firms. Stan not only drives the company’s growth, culture and entrepreneurial environment, but also oversees and manages the entire group of Gale Companies, which compete in various facets of commercial Real Estate – Equity Opportunities, Asset Management, Investments, Leasing, Facility and Property Management and Construction.
A native of Long Island, Stan holds a bachelors and MBA from Rollins College in Florida. Stan began his career with the Daniel Gale Agency in 1973 and moved on to Grubb & Ellis in 1976. The Gale Company’s roots began in 1985 when Stan was appointed President, Sammis Company Northeast. Since then, that company has grown into The Gale Company, which has the reputation as one of the most respected real estate firms in the United States.
Stan is widely recognized for his leadership, creativity and entrepreneurial contributions to the business community, as well as being known for his active involvement in numerous charities. He resides in NJ with his family. Stan also has an ownership interest in the New York Yankees, the New Jersey Devils and the New Jersey Nets.

Mark Yeager
President and Chief Investment Officer
The Gale Company
Mark Yeager, as President and Chief Investment Officer of The Gale Company, directs the company’s investment and development activities including acquisitions, dispositions, all funds activities, formulation of business plans and implementation of financial investments. He is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives designed to facilitate the company’s growth and expansion including the acquisition of income-producing investment properties, the pursuit of development opportunities, and the creation of third-party corporate advisory, asset and property management and construction management relationships.
A graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey where he majored in marketing. Prior to joining The Gale Company, Mark was a commercial real estate investment broker and handled the sales and leasing of income-producing office, industrial and retail properties in the New Jersey market. Prior to entering the real estate field, Mark worked in corporate finance.
Mark is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Regional Business Partnership and the Executive Committee for the Tri-County Scholarship Fund.

Managing Partner/Principal

John Hynes opened a Boston office for The Gale Company in January 1999, when he became its local partner for the Northeast Region. His focus includes investment opportunity evaluation, development site assemblage, brokerage networking, third-party property management and build-to-suit opportunities. He has been active in the Greater Boston commercial real estate community since graduating from college in 1980. As a broker, John has participated in as many office leasing and sales transactions as any active broker in the marketplace today – over 250 transactions, totaling over 6 million square feet involving hundreds of companies. As the local development partner with one of the most respected and diversified service firms in the United States from 1983 to 1993, he completed three office projects totaling 950,000 square feet with an aggregate value in excess of $200 million.
In his first year with The Gale Company, he was responsible for the assemblage, permitting, financing and leasing of One Lincoln Street, a 36-story, $500 million, 1,100,000 square foot office tower in Boston’s Financial District. One Lincoln Street broke ground in April 2000 and was the first speculative office building to be built in the Financial District since 1992. In May of 2001, he successfully consummated a 1,100,000 square foot lease with State Street Corporation. This lease is the largest lease transaction in Boston history. In July 2001 he successfully negotiated and consummated a joint venture agreement with POSCO E&C; and the City of Incheon, South Korea for a 1,500-acre master plan development project known as New Songdo City. This project is the first international real estate joint venture in the history of South Korea and is one of the largest master planned development projects in the world. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, this $20 billion, 100 million square foot, 10-year project is in the financing and design development phase as of this writing.
John is a graduate of Harvard University where he was co-captain of the Varsity Hockey Team in 1979/1980 and received several honors and awards. John’s grandfather served as Mayor of Boston from 1949 to 1959 and his father, Jack, has been a long-term fixture in the Boston media community.

Kathleen Wielkopolski
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Strategy Officer

As the Chief Financial Strategy Officer, Kathy is responsible for identifying and executing global financial strategies that are critical to the current and future needs of the operating units of The Gale Company and its affiliates. These responsibilities include entity formation, debt and equity structuring, financial planning and maintaining relationships with capital providers. Prior to this position Kathy was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining the Company in 1995, Kathy was Vice President of Finance for 11 years at a real estate development and property management company where she managed a portfolio of 2.5 million square feet and 13 hotels. Prior to that Kathy spent 11 years at a big four accounting firm with audit and financial management responsibilities for numerous clients in diverse industries.
Kathy is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pension Real Estate Association. She is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Kathy is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and is Past President of Executive Women of New Jersey and a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of St. Aloysius. Kathy is married with three children.

Ian M. Marlow
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating & Information Officer

As the Chief Operating and Information Officer, Ian leads the Operations of The Gale Company. The Operations touch every group and division and include direct oversight of The Gale Company’s Property Management operations, Facilities Management operations as well as all centralized support groups. This includes Information Technology, Financial Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Risk Management, Tax Services and Administration. Additionally, the process and re-engineering of the organization are designed by Operations in conjunction with the needs and input of other senior leadership.
Ian’s operational experience spans multiple industries and disciplines. With formal training as a chemical engineer and operational experience as a Nuclear Engineer, Ian’s analytical and strategic skills drive many of the automation and engineering changes within the The Gale Company. Over the past years he has expanded his career to include actuarial work, workflow analysis, financial and accounting evaluation, technology implementation and business techniques, which drive the design and format of Operations.
A native of New Jersey, Ian holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ian’s career began with the Department of Defense and Department of Energy as a Nuclear Engineer. Prior to joining The Gale Company, Ian was the Chief Engineering & Marketing Officer of a publicly traded Property and Casualty insurance group directly responsible for re-engineering and automating its operations.
