ROSELAND, N.J., SEPT. 19, 2007 - The Gale Real Estate Services Company, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), held a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for One Jefferson Road in Parsippany, N.J. The 100,000 square-foot class A office building is the fourth and final building at The Center of Morris County office campus.

Among the officials present at the ceremony were Michael M. Luther, Mayor of Parsippany-Troy Hills Township; County of Morris Freeholder John J. Murphy; Mark Yeager, President of the Gale Real Estate Services Company; Mitchell E. Hersh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Gale Real Estate Services Company; Joseph Dobronyi, Vice President-Real Estate of JPMorgan Investment Management, Inc.; and James E. Hanson, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Hampshire Companies.

"We are extremely pleased to break ground on the final phase of the development of The Center of Morris County business campus with the Mayor, county and township officials, and our partners," said Mark Yeager, President of the Gale Real Estate Services Company. "Following the success of our recent spec development of 100 Kimball Drive, also at this campus, One Jefferson Road further demonstrates our confidence in the growing demand for next generation space in the Morris County marketplace."

One Jefferson Road, a three-story building, is scheduled for completion in late 2008.

One Jefferson Road follows the successful 100 Kimball Drive development, where Gale recently announced a long-term lease with Deloitte & Touche USA for 160,000 square feet. The 175,000 square-foot spec building was completed in April 2007.

The Gale Real Estate Services Company is managing and leasing One Jefferson Road on behalf of the ownership group, which is comprised of a joint venture partnership with a commingled fund advised by JPMorgan Investment Management, Inc.; The Hampshire Companies; and Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. The building is being developed by the Gale Construction Company, LLC.
